TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Kaden Miller, who died following a motorcycle accident on Wednesday evening, July 8, 2026. He was 27 years old. His sudden passing has left family members, friends, classmates, and the wider Bell County community grieving the loss of a young man remembered for his humor, loyalty, and genuine personality.
Fatal Motorcycle Crash Under Investigation
According to the Temple Police Department, officers responded shortly after 8:00 p.m. to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle near Logistics Way and NE HK Dodgen Loop, close to the Buc-ee’s travel center.
Preliminary findings indicate that a passenger vehicle traveling westbound attempted a left turn and collided with Kaden’s eastbound motorcycle. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite lifesaving efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries. Bell County Justice of the Peace Larry Wilkey pronounced him deceased.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The Traffic Reconstruction Unit remained at the scene for several hours, and the investigation is ongoing.
